ABOUT ANNE WORDSWORTH
Anne has a wealth of experience having worked in five accountancy practices in East Anglia and the Midlands. Starting as a trainee accountant when she left school in 1994, she worked her way up to a Business Services Manager where she maintained a large portfolio of clients.
Anne has dealt with all aspects of clients’ financial affairs and a range of business sectors and sizes ranging from micro business start-ups through to businesses with a multi million pound turnover.
In 2013 she headed up the accounting function for a medium sized business with an annual turnover of almost £25 million. This provided Anne with a great insight into the day to day aspects of running a successful business, and an experience that has been useful for both herself and her clients.
Having worked in accountancy for more than 30 years, Anne is a fellow member of both Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and for over 15 years has held an Accountancy Practising Certificate.
Anne loves nothing more than helping and supporting Cube’s clients in the planning and strategic side of their business, but away from the office, Anne would rather be at Wimbledon watching the tennis, reading a good book or enjoying a walk by the sea!
ABOUT LUCY CLAYTON
Having spent over 20 years working in larger accountancy firms, Lucy is a valuable member of the Cube Accounting team.
Her experience gained over those years has been a welcome addition to the team’s resources since she joined the practice in the summer of 2018.
Lucy’s personable approach, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills make her perfect for the role of Assistant Accountant at Cube.
Main areas of expertise: Accounting Software Training and Support (Xero certified advisor and highly experienced with Sage products), Financial Accounts, Management Accounts, Bookkeeping, Invoicing, and VAT.
Lucy and Anne became firm friends when they first began working together over 18 years ago and discovered that they both had a love for tennis and Wimbledon!
As well as watching tennis, Lucy also enjoys playing “cardio tennis” and watching football and darts with her family.
ABOUT VICTORIA COWTON
Victoria Cowton, joined the team in 2021 having worked within the accounts industry for several years.
Victoria is our Senior Accountant and does a great job of supporting other members of the team, not only with work but she is also the go to person for paper jams and printer blips too!
With clear ambition Victoria has worked hard and is now ACCA exam qualified and in the final stages of obtaining the full ACCA qualification. Cube Accounting have been delighted to be support her in this qualification journey!
In her spare time Victoria enjoys days out with her partner and children, as well as baking cakes and is a keen cross stitcher.
ABOUT JACK
Jack joined Cube Accounting in 2024 as an apprentice studying for his AAT qualifications. He has completed AAT level 2 and is well on the way to completing AAT level 3.
Jack has always had a passion for maths and an eye for detail, leading to him choosing this career path. If you have called the Cube office you are sure to have spoken to Jack! Along with being very competent on Xero and supporting our clients on this software, he can be regularly found on the phone resolving client HMRC issues.
In his free time, Jack enjoys cooking and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends, always experimenting in both to come up with unique ideas and ways of doing things.
ABOUT AMY-LEE
Amy-Lee joined Cube Accounting in 2024 as an apprentice studying for her AAT qualifications. She has successfully completed AAT level 2 and is well on the way to completing AAT level 3.
Having previous experience in administration and a strong sense of organisational skills this has been a great foundation in helping her to get our Cube clients more organised with their accounting records.
In her spare time Amy-Lee likes to spend time caring for her pets and going on long strolls with her puppy or sitting down with a mocha and a book.
ABOUT SARAH WATKINS
Sarah joined in 2022 as an administrator at Cube Accounting. Sarah oversees all the new client onboarding paperwork along with all sorts of admin tasks.
Prior to Cube Sarah worked in the hospitality sector managing events. This prior experience has come in very handy with supporting the whole Cube team. Anne would be lost without Sarah's organisational skills.
Outside of work Sarah will often be found on long walks with her lively dog in the local countryside and loves spending time in Devon with her family and grown up children.
ABOUT NICK GAUTREY
Nick has a number of years of experience across a breadth of different sectors and specialisms, bringing a well rounded expertise to the team. Having inherited his passion for accountancy from his Grandad at a young age, he has completed an A level and BSc in Accountancy and Finance. He is also a fully registered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Nick is the Client Manager here at Cube Accounting and will be on hand to handle the day to day queries that you may have. He has a friendly approach and won’t stray away from researching the best advice possible for each case.
Main areas of expertise: Limited Company Accounts and Taxation, Sole Trader, Partnerships and Personal Taxes, Owner Managed Businesses and Small Companies.
When not dealing with clients and producing accounts, Nick enjoys his down time playing the drums in a local band and day trips with his family.
